Operation One: Community Support

1. Overview

An "outreach with center approach" that integrates visit support and facility support, that is, an approach that we support all community members through visit support without no one left behind and provide various opportunities to community members at a community center through facility support to take initiative.

i. Visit Support (Outreach)

  • We work for community members and One Team for people to have easier access and understanding of our center.

  • We provide education and welfare services to community members who have difficulty in going to the center by visiting them.

  •  We carry out public relations activities to make more people aware of the activity content.

  •  We carry out activities such as home visits to know the situation of community members.

   ii. Facility Support (Center)

  • We build and operate a multipurpose community support center that is open to any local community members and is a base for outreach activities through the OneTeam Approach.

  • We provide a place for the initiative of all local community members.

  • We provide an open space that can be freely used by all local community members

  • We provide a place for free interaction between local community members and between local community members  and One Team members.

  • We provide facilities and technologies that the community does not have.

2. Project contents

1. We increase the resilience of vulnerable people, including infants and toddlers, children, women, elderly people, persons with physical/mental disabilities and unemployed people. We work with all the community members inclusively for community development.

2. We promote community building by self-supporting in the way that we share the importance of sustainable development with community people and practically we raise funds and do volunteering activities together to solve the social problems that the partner communities are facing.

3. We open the International Development Community Center “ViVID Village” to the partner communities and allow people to use our facilities and play-field for their needs. We also hold events to increase solidarity among community people and promote respect to the fundamental human rights, gender equality, and peaceful and equitable community building to foster global citizenship.

4. We provide daily life water to neighborhoods and aim to living standards.

9. We operate the community center based on the concept of “barrier-free”, which is designed that enables all people including elderly people and persons with disabilities to use the facilities safely. We will also actively carry out awareness-raising activities for barrier-free to promote the concept around partner communities.

10. We actively engage in waste management for the environment of the communities and for the health of their people and follow 5 Rs (Reduce, Reuse, Recycle, Refuse and Repair) in order to share green ideas with the entire community. In addition, we use affordable and reliable sustainable energy to create an eco-friendly village.
