Stage 1: Research on social issues of the Targeted Communities and Stakeholders
We conduct research on the social issues of the communities by the methods below.
-
Information provision by the *ViVID Online Volunteer Members
-
A preliminary survey of the communities using social network services (SNS)
-
Field hearing research by local staff and volunteers
-
Senior thesis programmes
We also research stakeholders that meet the vision of our organization and are solving social issues in different regions and development fields.
* ViVID Online Volunteer Group: It is a Facebook group that the International ViVID manages, consisting of ViVID members and people from the targeted community. This group was created as a tool for exchanging views on projects and programs for local community development. ViVID online volunteer members can work with ViVID members on local community development as members of the ViViD team.
Stage 2: Analysis of social issues of the Targeted Communities and Stakeholders
We conduct qualitative and quantitative research and analysis of the social issues of the targeted communities in each field (Famine/Poverty, Water/Nutrition, Education, Sanitation, Health Care/Social Welfare, Gender, Agriculture, Environment, Energy). Also, we analyze 17 Goals and 169 Targets of the SDGs that each stakeholder is addressing to solve the social issues.
Stage 3: Match-up of social issues of the Targeted Communities and Stakeholders
We match up social issues which we should solve out to the stakeholders in the targeted communities.
Stage 4: Work as One Team
We establish “One Team” and work together with stakeholders at our targeted community. We apply PDCA (Plan, Do, Check, Act) cycle for projects and we make progress reports for the progress of the local community development to the targeted communities, partner stakeholders and even the public.
Stage 5: One Team Project in other communities
We conduct projects through the One Team Approach in other communities and contribute to the local community development in the whole Africa.
